PELOTON CAPITAL MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES THREE HIRES

TORONTO – January 18, 2023 – Peloton Capital Management (“PCM”), a Canadian private equity firm with a long-term approach to middle-market buyouts in the North American market today announced three new hires to support the company’s continued growth.

PCM has welcomed Christine Goldberg as Vice President, Harpreet (“Harp”) Padda as Director of Business Development and Jack Holmes as an Associate.

Christine Goldberg joins PCM as Vice President, with a focus on value creation at our portfolio companies. Prior to joining PCM, Christine worked at Canada Goose as a Senior Manager holding both corporate and product strategy roles. Christine spent the first eight years of her career at Hugessen Consulting, a leading advisor to corporate boards on executive compensation and related corporate governance. Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, with a concentration in Finance.

Jack Holmes has joined PCM as an associate.  Jack started his career at RBC Capital Markets, first in New York City as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group before returning to Toronto as an Associate in the Consumer & Industrial Products coverage group. While at RBC, Jack worked on numerous financing and M&A transactions across various industries, including healthcare, consumer & retail, telecommunications, industrial products, and technology. Jack holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.

Harp Padda joins PCM as Director of Business Development. Prior to joining PCM, Harp was Director of Business Development at The Marquee Group, a financial modeling training company, where he helped build new relationships with clients. Harp was also SVP and Head of Business Development at private equity firm Founders Advantage Capital. He started his career as an Investment Banking Associate at CIBC and BMO, then moving to corporate lending at ATB and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Harp is a CFA charterholder, holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, and has a BSc (Finance) from Canisius College.
