GREG MASHINTER JOINS PELOTON CAPITAL MANAGEMENT AS PARTNER. JOE KAPRIELIAN PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT
TORONTO – July 14, 2022 – Peloton Capital Management (PCM), a Canadian private equity firm with a long-term approach to middle-market buyouts in the North American market today announced two key personnel changes.
First, PCM is pleased to announce that Greg Mashinter has joined the firm as a Partner. Greg joins PCM after 16 years with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“OTPP”) where he was most recently a Director on the Private Capital team focused on sourcing, investment analysis, transaction execution and portfolio value creation in the financial services sector. While at OTPP, Greg played key roles across a number of marquee transactions, including Canada Guaranty Mortgage Insurance Company, Allworth Financial, First American Payment Systems, and Heartland Dental. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA charterholder.

PCM is also pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph Kaprielian to Vice President with immediate effect. Joe has been with the PCM team for 3 years and has been instrumental in sourcing, transaction execution and value creation at the firm. Notably, Joe has been deeply involved in PCM’s investments in 123Dentist, P3 Veterinary Partners and Glass Lewis.
