Greg Mashinter

Greg is a Partner at PCM and he currently sits on the boards of Trilogy Financial, Billyard Insurance Group, EHN Canada and Lakefield Veterinary Group.

Prior to joining PCM, Greg was a Managing Director in the Private Capital team at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP). He started his career at OTPP in 2006 as an Analyst and progressed into increasingly senior roles that included responsibility for originating, executing, and managing direct private equity investments, primarily in the financial services and healthcare services sectors in North America.

During his 16-year tenure at OTPP, Greg developed extensive experience in deal sourcing, investment analysis, transaction execution and portfolio value creation. Greg’s deep portfolio company experience includes roles on the boards of Allworth Financial, Canada Guaranty Mortgage Insurance Company, First American Payment Systems, SeaCube Container Leasing, Lancaster Aircraft Leasing and Home Equity Bank. He was also actively involved in a number of other direct private equity investments, including Heartland Dental, INC Research, NXT Capital, and BroadStreet Partners.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA charterholder.

Greg lives in Toronto with his wife and young twins, is an avid golfer, hockey player, mountain biker and a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur.
